In the ensuing fight, Hound destroyed several of the individual robots, Little Junkheap was killed by Hound by knocking him out, then Medium Junkheap was killed by Hound by stabbing a knife in his face. Junkheap stormed Hong Kong to track down the Seed, splitting into his three components to cover more ground.

Along with the other drones, it is the only Transformer that has 3 parts to it. Junkheap was on Earth of many KSI drones activated and put under the control of Galvatron.
